SAP ABAP Developer

Remote SAP ABAP Developer required in Cape Town.

Are you an experienced ABAP Developer looking for your next opportunity? If you’re passionate about SAP development and love crafting efficient, high-performing solutions, this role is for you!

Bring your 3 – 5 years of ABAP development experience with SAP Gateway and OData Services and knowledge of FI, MM and SD modules. Exposure to SAP HANA is advantageous.

Type: 12-month Contract (Rolling).

Rate: R30 000 – R70 000 Depending on experience.

Area: Remote within South Africa.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Developing and maintaining ABAP programs across various SAP environments.
2. Creating custom reports and integration interfaces with external systems.
3. Optimising ABAP code for performance and efficiency.
4. Working with SAP Gateway and OData Services for seamless integration.
5. Collaborating with IT and business teams to deliver innovative SAP solutions.
6. Providing technical support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
7. Engaging with key SAP modules, including FI, MM, and SD.

What We’re Looking For:

1. 3-5 years of ABAP development experience.
2. Strong skills in ABAP debugging and performance tuning.
3. Experience with SAP Gateway and OData Services.
4. Knowledge of SAP modules (FI, MM, SD).
5. Exposure to SAP HANA (advantageous).
6. A problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for optimisation.
7. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering (advantageous).

Bonus Skills That Set You Apart:

1. Experience with SAP WebIDE.
2. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
