TELUS is looking for a Sales Team Leader to join our growing team! As a Sales Team Leader, you will play a key role in inspiring, coaching, and guiding your team to meet and exceed sales targets while delivering top-notch customer service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed sales quotas and performance targets.
  • Provide coaching and continuous feedback to ensure team members' growth and success.
  • Foster a positive, high-energy environment where team members feel motivated and engaged.
  • Monitor daily performance, ensuring that goals are met while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Assist with resolving customer complaints, ensuring that all issues are handled with professionalism and empathy.
  • Analyze performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement action plans to boost results.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the successful execution of sales strategies and targets.
  • Act as a role model by demonstrating consultative sales skills and best practices to team members.
  • Ensure team members are equipped with the knowledge of Lumen’s full range of products and services.
  • Overcome objections, problem-solve, and drive opportunities for new sales while maintaining a customer-first approach.

Ideal Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will have a passion for leading others to success. You are a proven sales leader who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment. Your expertise in coaching and mentoring sales teams, combined with your strong sales experience, will allow you to motivate others to reach their potential while achieving both individual and team sales goals.

Key Attributes:

  • Energy and passion to achieve sales and service results while demonstrating TELUS's “Spirit of Service” for customers and coworkers.
  • Documented successful sales experience, particularly in reaching measurable quotas and goals.
  • Call center experience is a plus; commissioned sales experience is highly preferred.
  • Proven consultative selling skills and a commitment to building long-term customer relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in a structured call center environment, effectively managing multiple computer applications and systems simultaneously.
  • Strong typing, computer navigation, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally.
  • Proficient in prioritizing tasks, managing time, and maintaining performance under pressure.
  • Experience working with and supporting enterprise customers, offering solutions with empathy and integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse customers and colleagues.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to negotiate and make decisions on behalf of customers.
  • Motivated by commissions while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
  • Confidence to ask for the sale and overcome objections to close deals.
  • A strong desire to learn and understand a wide array of Lumen products, services, and technologies.
  • Ability to balance uncovering opportunities with delivering exceptional customer service.
