As a Sales Specialist in the Dimension Data Intelligent Workplace Sales team, your primary objective is to take Dimension Data’s modern workplace message into the market; work with your assigned clients to develop their workplace roadmaps and to drive the sale of Dimension Data’s mobility and RPA solutions to grow our share of wallet within your account patch.
This role requires you to engage with clients from a sales and high-level consulting perspective as well as to be a liaison between different stakeholders within the Dimension Data business and the greater NTT group. You will also be responsible for assisting members of the IW team, as needed, to ensure clients are serviced across all stages of the sales cycle.
Your secondary objective is to ensure that the accounts allocated to you are well administered, that your clients receive good service and that you seek opportunities to strengthen Dimension Data’s brand and presence within the client base.
Requirements
Interface with clients in a professional manner with emphasis on building client relationships
Develop an understanding of the clients’ business, services, and technology needs
Develop an understanding of the clients’ user profiles and their ways of work
Establish credibility with the client
Promote our services and solutions in the modern workplace, collaboration, mobility, and RPA / Power Platform and seek new business opportunities
Have an awareness of ERP platforms and how they can be presented and consumed in the modern workplace
Work with the Technical and Solution Architects to develop client roadmaps in the modern workplace and collaboration domains
Ensure the timely submission of quality proposals, quotations, and RFP responses
Support high client satisfaction ratings through proactive sales engagements
Ensure accurate sales forecasting, planning, and processes adherence
Ensure that the sales repository is updated and used as the primary storage point for all client-related documentation
Work together with GTM Practice Leads and GM’s, Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Vendors, as applicable, to deliver the appropriate solutions to our clients
Drive the sales and presales cycles to ensure alignment of solutions and ability to deliver
Work closely and effectively and maintain good relationships with other team members
Participate in departmental administrative functions including meetings, billing submissions, training, evaluations, etc.

Learn about the development and digitization of business processes
Learn about the commercial and operational models required for a successful migration to Public Cloud Productivity and Collaboration providers.
Learn about service delivery models and standards e.g., ITIL

Qualification / Professional Registrations
Tertiary education; minimum bachelor’s degree
Experience
3 - 5 years Sales Experience is required as well as a passion for sales and solving clients’ business and IT challenges is critical to success in the role
Advanced Microsoft skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Commercial modeling and business case preparation
Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills
