Sales Representative - Road Freight

Together with our client, a logistics company, we are recruiting for a Sales Representative / Road Freight based in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate must have 4 - 5 years of sales / marketing experience in the road freight / logistics industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Sourcing and establishing new clients;
2. Maintaining business relationships;
3. Maintain a strong customer service attitude;
4. Assist and resolve queries in the operations and accounts department as and when required;
5. Developing and presenting proposals for potential and existing clients;
6. Providing training and assisting customers with the Company track and online website;
7. Achieving monthly budgets; both Existing and New business budget;
8. Completing daily CRM reports;
9. Ensure all clients are visited within 40 days;
10. Growing existing business cross-selling with existing clients;
11. Assisting the debtor’s department with the collection of outstanding monies as and when required;
12. Printing of waybills and labels, if required;
13. Innovating new business opportunities;
14. General contribution towards sales team;
15. Assistance in the customer service department as and when required;
16. Dealing with all relevant warehouse queries in a friendly and courteous manner;
17. Ensure that timeous quotes are given to all customers and that they are accurate and up to date;

Desired Experience & Qualification

1. Level 4 equivalent to standard 10 / grade 12;
2. 4 - 5 years of sales / marketing experience in road freight / logistics;
