Introduction Seeking a seasoned Sales Representative within the mechanical seal industry.
Reporting to the regional manager, this is a sales-driven, sales-focused role.
Maintaining existing customers, sales growth, and increasing the market share will be paramount to the success of this role.
Duties & Responsibilities
Be responsible for achieving the short, medium- and long-term sales and orders objectives for sales area located in the Richard Bay region to meet and exceed business targets.
Establish and maintain contracts across the region for the successful and profitable management of the region.
Establish strategic alliances with end-users, cultivating long-term commitment and cooperation for mutual benefit and added value.
Be responsible for implementing the business development plans for sales areas in line with the company's strategic direction for the region.
Liaise with various technical departments to provide engineered solutions/advice to end users.
Prospect for new accounts and establish new accounts.
Continuous visitations to end users to meet customer needs.
Support and supervise installation of products when required.
Desired Experience & Qualification
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Qualified to at least an engineering degree; any additional business qualifications would be an advantage. 5-10 years' experience in the mechanical seal industry with a proven track record in strategic selling in a complex/technical/commercial environment.
