Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, and seasoned Sales Representative who will be responsible for:
Identifying and managing growth of accounts in the region through rigorous account management, excellent relationships and a clear sense of goals and priorities.
Awareness of marketplace trends and influences is also essential.
Driving sales through extensive mining knowledge and existing partnerships within the mining industry.
Previous experience in research and development of industries through extensive online research and cold calling.
A clear ability to develop a customer is required.
Requirements
Grade 12.
Clear criminal record.
At least 3 years' relevant sales representative experience in mining, construction and manufacturing.
A degree or diploma of technical nature.
Ability to meet non-negotiable deadlines and sales targets.
Must be able to work independently and within a team.
Ability to relate to people at all levels in an organization.
Proven ability to get things done quickly, strong work ethic and be able to deliver within a pressurized environment.
Must have excellent MS Office skills.
Proven track record of ability to utilize online research platforms.
Experience in Microsoft Dynamics' sales platform is an advantage.
Above average command of English and Afrikaans (added advantage if the candidate can speak another South African language).
Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven.
Valid unendorsed driver's Licence.

Participate in building Sales Strategies in line with the business plans.
Target new clients and expand market share.
Develop and maintain existing customer base.
Increase brand market share through regular one-on-one contact with clients, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
Utilize planning and forecasting tools to accurately plan business.
Present marketing initiatives to customers.
Liaise with clients regarding delivery dates to ensure service excellence.
Administratively strong to receive and process orders.
Turnover growth in mining and mining related sales.
Evaluate market, provide feedback to manager as appropriate.
