Duties & Responsibilities
Effective Sales and Marketing of all products in the designated range.
Develop & understand how to maintain and develop current business and seek new business.
Attending theatre cases with technical support in the operating theatre when required.
Ensure full compliance during any hospital procedure, the SAMED code of conduct & CRICE.
Prepare, review and update surgeon preference lists including quotes.
Continuous development of product knowledge, as well as how to conduct customer calls to drive business growth.
Plan and co-ordinate sales calls and strategies.
Ongoing training of surgeons, registrars, and theatre staff.
Activities should satisfy quantitative and qualitative objectives set out in annual sales plan for the territory.
Requirements
BSc Degree in Human Movement / Health Sciences / National Diploma in Clinical Technology (Perfusion).
At least 3 years working experience as a medical device sales representative – preference will be given to candidates with Vascular, Cardiothoracic or Perfusion experience.
Fluency in English a necessity.
A high quality of communication, planning and time management skills required.
Good relationship building, networking, coaching, facilitating and feedback skills.
Valid code 08 driver's license & own transport.
Able to work after hours.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office package including Outlook.
