The incumbent will be East London based and cover East London, King William’s Town, Queenstown, Mthatha, and other towns in Eastern Cape, and will report directly to the Field Sales Manager. This is a fixed term position (2 years).
As a Sales Representative in Diabetes at Novo Nordisk, your key responsibilities will be to build and maintain strong relationships with health care professionals in the Diabetes field. A strong performer is needed to achieve sales targets and growth in the allocated territory, by promoting Novo Nordisk products to healthcare professionals. This will require that you execute sales strategies effectively, efficiently, and ethically and participate as a member of a high-performing team. The role will further require that you build consultative relationships with clinicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other pharmaceutical and related stakeholders.
You hold a University Degree/Diploma or equivalent in Medicine / Pharmacy / Biology or related Science or Paramedical qualification. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good command of English and Xhosa; and good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Moreover, you have:

Novo Nordisk South Africa is looking to appoint a Sales Representative who will be changing possibilities for people living with diabetes, by promoting and selling Novo Nordisk products to selected targeted customers in the East London area through implementation of the agreed Marketing and Sales strategies in a manner that is consistent with operational requirements and upholding the Novo Nordisk Way.
