Sales Representative/Consultant

We are currently recruiting for an Electrician (Underground) for a mine, based in Brits (North West).

Experience & Qualification:

• Grade 12 and/or N2 (NQF Lev 3).
• Electrical Trade Test.
• 2-3 years in an Underground environment.
• Must have own transport and valid driver’s license.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Good general health AND a certificate of fitness (Red Ticket).

• Sound planning (time management), and organisational abilities.
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize.
• Good customer and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to function on your own and within a team.
• Independent, self-motivated, proactive thinking.
• Ability to communicate in English (written & verbal) and one other official language.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure that a good standard of safety awareness is maintained.
• Ensure that section personnel comply with the required Health and Safety and Environmental standards.
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained.
• Daily, Weekly and Monthly inspections to be done.
• Electrical maintenance on all machinery underground.
• Must be able to work overtime when required.
