Our client is looking for a highly motivated and self-sufficient Sales Representative to drive sales growth in pharmacies, jewelry stores, retailers, and chain stores across Gauteng. The ideal candidate must be proactive, professional, and capable of working independently to generate leads, close sales, and maintain long-term client relationships.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Valid driver's license and own vehicle
2. 3-5+ years of proven sales experience in retail, pharmaceutical, or B2B environments.
3. Prior experience working with retail chain stores, pharmacies, or national buyers.
4. Personal contacts within major retail chains are highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and develop new business opportunities within pharmacies, jewelry stores, and retailers.
2. Conduct a minimum agreed number of new customer visits per week and achieve conversion targets from visits to sales.
3. Maintain and grow existing client relationships, ensuring consistent engagement and account management.
4. Make appointments and conduct in-person sales meetings with potential and existing clients.
5. Present, promote, and negotiate pricing within the approved discount structure.
6. Take customer orders and ensure timely order submission to head office.
7. Deliver orders when necessary to maintain customer relationships.
8. Plan and manage travel routes effectively to optimize sales visits.
9. Work autonomously, ensuring maximum efficiency without daily supervision.
10. Attend meetings to supply feedback and progress reports when required to do so.
11. Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
12. Attend company training sessions and keep up to date with product knowledge.
13. Be prepared to work occasional weekends for key business opportunities.
