Sales Representative - Arthroplasty Medical Devices
Job description
- Ability to market and sell medical devices and associated instruments to a varying audience, including surgeons and hospitals.
- Must have experience in 'Theatre Based Selling' preferably within the Orthopaedic Discipline, Arthroplasty, Sports Medicine, Trauma.
- Must possess a strong and dynamic personality.
- Must have good administrative skills to manage monthly reporting and Sales Tool.
- Strong work ethic and be self-motivated to drive successful interactions in a fast-paced, highly technical sales environment.
- Ability to work in an Operating Room setting and be available on call.
- Ability to communicate with prospective customers as well as educate customers on product portfolio.
- Must be able to work with doctors and hospital staff to achieve superior surgical outcomes, while working within a team.
- Accomplish goals as well as build trust and respect among team members and the medical community.
- Manage budgets and quarterly targets.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree, medical discipline or equivalent Diploma with work experience preferred.
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE preferred but not required:
- 2 years of successful sales experience in the medical device or related industry.
- Experience with OR products is preferred, particularly orthopedics.
- Experience with problem solving and relationship building with surgeons and hospitals.
- Must have experience in 'Theatre Based Selling' preferably within the Orthopaedic Discipline, Arthroplasty, Sports Medicine, Trauma.
