Job description
  • Ability to market and sell medical devices and associated instruments to a varying audience, including surgeons and hospitals.
  • Must have experience in 'Theatre Based Selling' preferably within the Orthopaedic Discipline, Arthroplasty, Sports Medicine, Trauma.
  • Must possess a strong and dynamic personality.
  • Must have good administrative skills to manage monthly reporting and Sales Tool.
  • Strong work ethic and be self-motivated to drive successful interactions in a fast-paced, highly technical sales environment.
  • Ability to work in an Operating Room setting and be available on call.
  • Ability to communicate with prospective customers as well as educate customers on product portfolio.
  • Must be able to work with doctors and hospital staff to achieve superior surgical outcomes, while working within a team.
  • Accomplish goals as well as build trust and respect among team members and the medical community.
  • Manage budgets and quarterly targets.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree, medical discipline or equivalent Diploma with work experience preferred.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE preferred but not required:

  • 2 years of successful sales experience in the medical device or related industry.
  • Experience with OR products is preferred, particularly orthopedics.
  • Experience with problem solving and relationship building with surgeons and hospitals.
  • Must have experience in 'Theatre Based Selling' preferably within the Orthopaedic Discipline, Arthroplasty, Sports Medicine, Trauma.
