The company wishes to employ a well-established senior Sales Representative responsible for the launching, marketing, and sales of Advanced Wound Care products in the public and private sectors in South Africa.
The successful incumbent will be based in Johannesburg reporting to the Regional Sales Manager.
Skills required:
- 5 years minimum experience in the medical device/supplies industry with experience in selling wound care technologies.
- Ability to identify and engage with relevant key opinion leaders.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Computer Literacy.
- Relevant work experience including the ability to build relationships with customers and KOLs.
- Excellent presentation skills and able to create presentation content.
- Sales skills.
- Driven and energetic self-starter to drive the sales of new innovative wound care products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage with key players in the public and private wound care sector such as Vascular surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, General surgeons, and Professional Nurse Practitioners.
- Build solid customer relationships.
- Attend ward rounds and dressing changes.
- Ensure all activities and sales leads are captured on CRM.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Become highly proficient and knowledgeable with the product range and the clinical factors associated with these products.
- Educate the customer regarding the technical and clinical requirements of the products.
- Constantly build a good knowledge of competitor products and activities.
- Assist with clinical trials and data analysis.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- BSc in biomedical health sciences or Nursing.
- Clinical knowledge of wound care.
- Worked in a Sales environment for more than 5 years.
- Willing to work overtime and travel.
- Own reliable vehicle.
- Own reliable cell phone.
- South African Citizen.
Compensation:
Basic salary and car allowance.
100% medical aid and provident fund company contribution.
5% commission on gross profit of total monthly sales.
