Introduction

Komatsu Head Office is seeking a passionate Sales Representative with at least 5 years construction and mining equipment sales experience to join their Operational team in Germiston.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in a Technical field/trade or Sales and Marketing
2. Strong communication and negotiation skills
3. Applicant must be motivated and target driven

Years of experience:

1. 5 years sales experience in construction and mining equipment

Additional knowledge/requirements:

1. Valid driver's license
2. MS - Excel & SAP

Job Specification:

1. Draft sales plan/forecast with visits, activities, and targets for defined products, customers, or areas
2. Develops & maintains relationships with stakeholders (internal & customer) in the sales process in order to drive results
3. Facilitates unit sales process in conjunction with all internal stakeholders
4. Increases visibility of the Komatsu brand at customer sites
5. Collates and gathers information for use in sales analyses
6. Identifies & collates information to understand market segmentation, trends, product benefit analysis, pricing strategies to develop effective values added sales & marketing strategies.
