Sales & Projects Coordinator

My client in the manufacturing industry is seeking to employ a Sales & Project Coordinator to join their company based in Germinston.

Duties include:

1. The incumbent will be responsible for directly coordinating sales activities.
2. Perform coordination duties such as budgeting, accounting, quoting, expediting, and managing of projects.
3. Provide an effective support function to the Automotive Commercial Manager.
4. Maintain and update the project prices and deliverables to the customer.
5. Ensure that proposals/tenders address the key issues and comply technically and commercially with the requirements of the enquiry.
6. Build and maintain good relationships with various external and internal stakeholders by communicating in an effective manner.
7. Visit and interact with contract customers on occasion.
8. Develop new business with project-related customers.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Matric / Grade 12 qualification essential.
2. A tertiary qualification in related studies would be beneficial.
3. Sales and/or Marketing experience.
4. 4-7 years steel industry experience would be advantageous.
5. Experience in SAP Modules - Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, and Production Planning would be advantageous.
