JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In order to manage and grow their full range of product sales for South Africa, they wish to recruit a Sales Manager. The exciting job will include the following duties and responsibilities:
- Primary focus is on business development, developing a strategy and sales plan to address the designated accounts. Account planning and opportunity planning of targeted accounts.
- Builds and executes a sales strategy with a clear focus on maximizing revenue.
- Develop strong relationships in prospect and existing customers with actively understanding each customer's needs.
- Accountable for building relationships, defining customer needs, and matching with solutions.
- Serving as the liaison between the customer for escalating any roadblocks to securing the business.
- Deploy, direct, and execute winning sales opportunities; Effectively advise customers through consultative selling techniques; manage and update the sales opportunities through CRM. Analyze creation of solution offers and proposal development.
- Manage sales projects and control the selling process.
- Communicate and coordinate with other departments and headquarters for resource assignment and project planning.
- Utilize team members including post-sale delivery professionals, pre-sale technical professionals, and management to achieve business objectives.
- Qualifying & managing leads and prioritizing opportunities.
- Maintaining an understanding of competitive activity relevant to the sector.
- Provide foresight recommendations for future development, such as new market development and new product design.
CANDIDATE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND PROFILE
- Bachelor Degree or above.
- Minimum 5 years experience selling technology solutions to the Financial Services Industry; ATM-related experience will be preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to close US$ multi-million value deals.
- Proven success in a high quota carrying position.
- Customer-oriented approach.
- Awareness and knowledge about digital banking, payment systems, and banking services.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, strategic planning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Good at building relationships at all levels, including C-Levels at leading financial institutions in South Africa; wide and good connections with top management of South African banks preferred.
- Extended experience in direct and channel sales and customer relationship development & management; experience with strong negotiation and aggressive sales skills with financial segment customers.
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Based in Johannesburg. Have Driving License.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
