We are on the hunt for a Sales Manager who will develop innovative strategies to achieve sales goals, as well as make meaningful connections with customers.

The primary purpose of the role is to ensure targeted Coverage, Sales, Distribution and Retail Presence objectives are met for both the warehouse and buying group entities and manage the national sales team efficiently.

Responsibilities

  1. Achieve growth and sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
  2. Manage the Key Account Managers by setting objectives, coaching and monitoring performance.
  3. Hire, train, motivate, and advise a team of Key Account Managers.
  4. Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  5. Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  6. Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  7. Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our offerings.
  8. Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions address them.
  9. Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analysing performance data, and forecasting.
  10. Develop skills continuously for hiring, training, and leading team members, and ensure that they're using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives.
  11. Generate leads, establish, and nurture client relationships.
  12. Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence.
  13. Monitor monthly achievement of sale, product and retail goods and create improvement strategies where necessary.
  14. Monitor retail asset management in major retail stores for our distribution business.
  15. Sales commission templates to be completed and submitted to the COO by the 20th of every month.

Requirements

  1. 5 or more years of experience in sales management.
  2. Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing.
  3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  4. Superb leadership ability.
  5. Ability to travel extensively.
  6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Experience working with a sales team or sales representatives to meet a company's annual sales target.
  8. Ability to create and implement sales plans.
  9. Ability to meet sales goals by monitoring progress.
  10. Ability to analyze sales data.
  11. Presentation and analytical skills.
  12. Management and leadership skills.
  13. Ability to develop budgets and sales strategies.
  14. Aptitude for mentoring and coaching sales reps.
