Job description

A reputable company with a national footprint has a position for a Sales Manager. The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and sales management skills to develop and execute effective sales strategies.

Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  1. Relevant Tertiary education.
  2. Minimum 3 years sales management experience Non-Negotiable, along with extensive sales background.
  3. A proven track record in Sales is key.
  4. Must have managed and run a high-performance sales driven team that are target and commission based. B2C experience.
  5. ICT Industry background with IT product knowledge.
  6. Valid license + own vehicle Essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales team management.
  2. Sales target achievement. Effectively drive a sales team to ensure targets are met – individually and from a team perspective. Drive sales results – monthly target achievement as a team.
  3. Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  4. Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and support to sales representatives.
  5. Set and track individual and team sales targets.
  6. Monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
  8. Sales strategy development.
  9. Monthly staff reviews.
  10. Sales process management.
  11. Sales reporting.
  12. Team motivation and development.
  13. Operational management.
  14. Training, team motivation and development.
