Sales Executive Senior - Courier

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Executive to join the Johannesburg team.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the courier and logistics sector.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Present and promote courier solutions to potential clients through cold calling, networking, and client meetings.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations to prospective customers.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Business Management / Sales and Marketing
• Minimum 6 years experience in sales within the courier, logistics, or transportation industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to generate leads and convert them into long-term clients.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle (advantageous).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
