International Trucking concern is seeking a Sales Executive to join their team. The purpose of this role is to maximize the sales of parts to internal and external customers and focus on the acquisition and retention of customers to achieve the agreed profit. Ensure full compliance with procedures as specified by the company and actively plan to achieve monthly sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Service:
Generate feedback from the industry and update the product/completion MIS (management information system) on a monthly basis.
Work closely with the Business Head to finalize monthly schemes for increasing sales volumes.
Generate direct sales from extra heavy truck clients/customers.
Maintain relationships with key customers and measure share of business at key accounts.
Directly responsible for increasing volumes and market share for assigned province/territory.
Sell vehicles to meet customer needs, ensuring the first quotation is correct.
Listen to the customer's explanation and have a clear understanding of requirements and location.
Show interest in personal development and a willingness to learn more about the product.
Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledging all customers he/she comes in contact with.
Personally manage work efficiency.
Ensure that all leads are recorded on the CMS.
Follow prescribed cash and credit processing procedures of the dealership.
Control showroom inventory to ensure maximum sales and customer satisfaction.
Development and Growth:
Participate in all relevant training programs.
Share your new knowledge with others.
Engage in personal learning and self-development.
Risk Management:
Minimize any risk of stock shortage/stock losses.
Handle all material handling tools and equipment according to prescribed dealership/company standards.
Adhere to access control procedures.
Housekeeping:
Control orderliness and cleanliness.
Ensure that all Health and Safety rules are adhered to at all times.
Requirements:
5+ years of sales and marketing experience in extra heavy commercial vehicles in South Africa.
Matric qualification.
Established record of achieving targets.
Experience in scorecard build-up and new business development is an added advantage.
Preferred brands worked with: UD, Fuso, Mercedes, FAW, Isuzu, Iveco, Scania, DAF, MAN, specializing only in extra heavy trucks.
