Your purpose as a Sales Executive at IT Anywhere is to drive the growth and success of the business by actively identifying, targeting, and engaging new potential clients while expanding market share and brand exposure through our proactive and innovative approach to managed IT services.
Work closely with our technical and Business Solutions teams to ensure potential clients fully understand the value of our service and solutions, tailored to meet their business needs and objectives. Ultimately, this role contributes directly to revenue generation and the long-term success of IT Anywhere.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Identify and prospect new clients through various channels, including cold calls, emails, networking, referrals, social media and provided software tools.
- Qualify leads and determine potential business opportunities for IT Anywhere’s product and services.
- Identify key decision makers and contacts.
- Conduct thorough client engagements for new prospects, identifying their business requirements, challenges, and goals.
- Present tailored Managed IT solutions that address client pain points, offer clear value propositions and business alignment.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Demonstrate the features and benefits of our services, ensuring clients understand how we can improve their IT operations and network security.
- Meet weekly, monthly and quarterly sales KPI’s as set out by Head of Business Development.
- Conduct regular follow ups and track sales opportunities to closure.
- Address client queries and concerns providing solution clarity where required.
- Close sales and assist with onboarding of new clients where applicable.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with the technical and Business Solutions teams to ensure client solution alignment.
- Work closely with quotations and supplier sub-divisions for pricing alignment and client proposals.
- Strong alignment with Head of Business Development to execute sales strategies and objectives.
Reporting and Tracking:
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions in Halo (CRM).
- Track sales wins and losses for reporting purposes to management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to position the company’s services effectively in the market.
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Business related degree e.g. BCom (advantageous).
- IT related degree / diploma (advantageous).
- IT industry related knowledge and experience (advantageous).
- Minimum 6 years sales experience (IT related sales advantageous).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with CRM use / Halo PSA.
- Proven track record within a sales environment.
- A desire to grow and open to mentorship.
- Ambitious drive for success and a winners mentality.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional with a pro-active approach to tasks.
- Driver's license.
- Own / reliable transport.
