Sales Executive

SALES MANAGER 2x

To qualify for this position, you should meet the following entry criteria:

1. 3 years of field sales experience operating in the agricultural, freight, cargo-securing and/or industrial sectors in a similar role is essential.
2. Tertiary qualification in a commercial or related field.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills and customer relationship orientation.
4. Sound commercial acumen and ability to structure deals in volatile trading conditions.
5. Is flexible and innovative in its ability to offer unique yet practical solutions to our customers.
6. Has an exceptional ability to grow relationships and build rapport with clients and team members alike.
7. Demonstrated ability in spotting opportunities in the industrial or related sectors and structuring deals that grow market share.
8. Has strong negotiation skills demonstrated by their confident manner and assertiveness in defending margin.
9. Is goal-oriented and proactive in looking for new business opportunities and applications for our product range.
10. Is patient and thorough in following up on leads but tenacious in securing commitment and closing the deal.
11. Goes the extra mile and makes that last call.

Key Deliverables:

1. Develops and delivers product sales strategies, plans, and targets in consultation with the product manager.
2. Identifies critical factors in product history and monitors forecasting in line with marketing plans.
3. Creates opportunities to promote the goodwill of the business and grow the company’s exposure in the marketplace.
4. Nurtures exceptional relationships with current and new/potential customers.
5. Grows sales territory and drives innovation of practical applications for our product offering.
6. Inspires and motivates colleagues to deliver sales targets and delight the customer.
7. Evaluates and reports on progress against targets and provides solutions to problems/obstacles that may arise.
