We are looking for a driven Sales Engineer within the Instrumentation/Electrical Field, Midrand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential leads and conduct relevant research, networking, and outreach.
- Develop targeted sales pitches and presentations.
- Sell equipment, products, and solutions to prospective and current clients using technical knowledge and commercial acumen.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and anticipate future requirements.
- Identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and review sales performance.
- Coordinate, assign, and monitor allocated enquiries, quotations, orders, projects, and deliveries.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in the industry and impart this knowledge to clients.
- Collaborate with internal departments to tailor products and services according to customer needs.
- Expand sales territories.
- Develop strategies to market products and deliver a superior customer experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of sales-related experience within a technical or engineering environment.
- Proven experience selling electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation equipment to mines, municipalities, and construction companies.
- Fluency in English - knowledge of French is an advantage.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Strong sales, project management, and networking skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team and perform under pressure.
Salary: R35 000 - R50 000
