Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for a smooth and effective execution of the Sales Support activities to ensure an optimal Back Office for the Sales force in order to assist in the realization of the set targets according to the sales & marketing plan, optimization of business results and securing of future revenues for the assigned bids.
  • Responsible for motivating/ensuring everyone works safely and according to the company's SHEQ standards, as stated in document of SHEQ department Responsibilities Manager with Regard to Safety, Quality & Environment, to ensure that all work is done in a safe, efficient, and qualitative way.
  • Complies with the attitude of Lean and continuous improvements in the organization.
  • Visits various sites/locations and fill in a WPI on regular basis.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all executed activities and processes are in compliance with the company's SHEQ standards, policies, instructions, and local legislation.
  • Understands, applies and conveys the company's mission and vision in order for the department to adhere to the expectations and values prioritized by the board, the CEO and the HQ management team.
  • Applies the standardized, controlled and transparent processes, systems, standard operating procedures and adjoining documents (e.g. standardized quotation formats) and simultaneously provides input for the continuous assessment and improvement hereof.
  • Informs Sales Support Manager on all relevant information from collected market data in order to strive towards a competitive advantage.
  • Takes ownership of the results and pro-actively setting actions into motion when needed (without Sales Support Managers intervention) in order to ensure that targets are met at all times.
  • Supplies project schedule and calculations.
  • Responsible for compiling professional, award winning bids in a timely manner to reach optimum sales results.
  • Ensuring that all assigned bids in accordance with Sales Authorization Chart are reviewed for feasibility, prices, timelines, liabilities, risks, legal compliance, etc. in collaboration with e.g. Operations, Technical Solutions, Legal.
  • Working out bidding strategy for complex technical bids together with responsible Key Account Manager to achieve the best bidding and pricing solution based on client`s needs and the company'sequipment.
  • Ensuring that input required from other departments is given in due time.
  • Working out project pricing and cost calculation and after internal assessment submit for approval and feedback to the management and the responsible Key Account Manager.
  • Following up the status of bids by contacting clients and responsible Key Account Manager.
  • Is the technical SPOC (Single Point Of Contact) for the projects assigned to him/her.
  • Studies and analyses all technical documentation of a project provided by internal/external stakeholders.
  • Looks for missing information, reports issues to stakeholders and makes appropriate assumptions, in order to elaborate the proper equipment for the technical solution.
  • Consults equipment documentation and measures equipment if required, in order to ensure the correct use and optimized configuration of the assigned equipment.
  • Produces project and equipment drawings using CAD software while following the company's drawing standards.
  • Participates in the production of technical documentation and basic calculations which he/she is authorized for (based on technical competences according to competence management), to illustrate and justify the technical solution to stakeholders.
  • Verifies project and equipment drawings for which he/she is authorized for, based on technical competences according to competence management.
  • Liaises with other engineering team members in order to improve the quality, efficiency and correctness of the technical documents.
  • Instructs and follows-up the engineering team members appointed to his/her project to produce the technical documents.
  • Attends technical meetings, site inspections and on-site work if needed.
  • Assists the stakeholders on technical issues before and during execution to ensure proper implementation of the technical solution.
  • Being an Ambassador of the companytowards all stakeholders
  • Provides the required reports and necessary information punctually on demand of Sales Support Manager.
  • Ensures that documentation is kept up-to-date in the ERP system.
  • Executes corrections of data in the ERP system where necessary.
