Job title: Sales Consultant - Newcastle (Must have own Vehicle)

Job Location: KwaZulu-Natal, Newcastle

Deadline: April 18, 2025

Key Responsibilities

  1. Source and sell armed monitoring and response agreements, providing invaluable security solutions to our valued customers.
  2. Drive sales of innovative alarm system upgrades, CCTV systems, electric fences, and more to meet the evolving needs of our clientele.
  3. Exceed monthly sales targets through your proactive approach and dedication to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Previous sales experience with a proven track record, preferably in capital goods sales, showcasing your ability to achieve and exceed targets.
  2. Knowledge of intruder detection equipment such as IDS, DSC, AJAX or other alarm systems is advantageous, demonstrating your technical acumen.
  3. Matric or equivalent qualification.

Job Requirements & Attributes

  1. Self-motivated, energetic, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
  2. Exceptional selling skills paired with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  3. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to effectively engage with customers.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office, Email, and Internet usage.
  5. Presentable appearance and professional demeanour, with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (This is non-negotiable).
  6. A hunter for new business opportunities with a passion for electronic and technical equipment.
  7. Must have minimum PSIRA Grade C.

Duties

  1. Generate and close deals, leveraging both self-sourced leads and those received internally.
  2. Cultivate relationships with estate agents, builders, architects, and other stakeholders to drive business growth.
  3. Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to track progress and ensure targets are met.
  4. Maintain administrative duties related to sales with meticulous attention to detail.

Performance Standards

  1. Achieve revenue sales targets and drive acquisition of new clients, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
  2. Ensure timely follow-up on all leads and quotes to maximize conversion rates.
