Our client is a leading industrial chemical manufacturing firm. They have a vacancy for an experienced B2B Sales Consultant to grow the business in the industrial and mining sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
Prepare, quotes, presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
Develop and maintain sales materials.
Take orders and install technical equipment.
Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
Identify and resolve client concerns.
Negotiate and implement price increases.
Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up and adherence to goals.
Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce over-stock issues.
Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
Follow-up on collection of payment.
Provide training to clients on products, dilutions, applications and safe handling of products.
Qualifications:
Minimum Grade 12 or NQF equivalent. Qualification in Sales or Marketing will be advantageous.
3-5 years B2B sales experience with proven ability to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans (written and spoken) and presentation skills.
Result-orientated attitude paired with outstanding communication and influencing skills.
Knowledge and Experience of technical systems and equipment for the chemical industry will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of Hygiene Systems will be beneficial.
Mining industry background is highly advantageous.
Computer Literate in Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid unendorsed Code 8 Driver License.
