Sales Consultants at Sage are the engine that drives our business. In this hybrid-office based role that contributes directly to our organisation's bottom line, you will drive sales and build lasting relationships with our clients, while writing your own pay cheque. You will have a strong focus on lead generation, engaging potential clients, conducting consultative sales, presenting our Accounting and Payroll Cloud products, and closing deals. This role requires you to work on-site every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of outbound sales experience preferably in a call centre or customer facing environment, a proven track record of meeting targets, and familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems. Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day responsibilities –
On a daily basis, conduct outbound calls to potential clients based on provided leads and target lists.
Collaborate with sales managers and team members to optimize sales strategies that drive individual and team performance.
First 90 days snapshot –
Starting off in the role will see you being upskilled and trained on the features, benefits, and applications of our products/services.
Continuously participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and understanding of Salesforce functionalities.
Initially, you will work onsite every day. However, based on the targets you achieve, you may transition to working onsite 2 to 3 days a week, with Wednesdays being mandatory.
Who you’ll be working with –
You will join a team of 8 Sales Consultants, and will work closely with other Sales Teams and colleagues across the business in supporting our sales efforts.
You will report to a Sales Manager for New Customer Acquisitions who has a successful track record of growth within our business over the past 10 years.
Minimum Qualifications –
3 – 5 years experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Experience in a B2B sales environment, knowledge of Software Sales and understanding of customer needs and pain points as well as a Salesforce Certification will ensure you stand out from other candidates.
