Sales Assistant | O.R. Tambo International Airport | Footwear Retailer

Sales Assistant needed to join a footwear retailer at O.R. Tambo International Airport. We are looking for well-spoken, presentable, sales-driven candidates that have a passion for retail and footwear fashion. Successful candidates must be fluent in Portuguese and English. It will be required of the Sales Assistant to be flexible with shifts as the operating hours of the store in the Duty Free Mall at O.R. Tambo International Airport is 6am to 10pm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Achieving monthly sales target
• Ensure excellent customer care standards are met
• Dealing with customer complaints and comments
• Adherence to store procedures and policies
• Performing bi-weekly stock count on allocated items
• Stock receiving
• Increasing sales and spend per head
• Implement promotions and marketing campaigns

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have at least 3 years’ retail experience in the fashion industry.
• Candidate must have matric; a tertiary education would be an added advantage.
• Be prepared to work airport retail hours (including weekends, holidays, and overtime).
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Maintain positive attitude at all times
• Be courteous and warm when dealing with customers
• Must have a can-do attitude

Salary:

Basic R5,500 CTC a month + Commission (highly target-driven environment)
