Sales and Marketing Representative

We have a new and exciting role for an experienced and qualified Sales and Marketing Representative in Potchefstroom. Applicants must be based in Potchefstroom, North West or willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

1. Do Lead Generation and convert deals through the pipeline to meet new sales targets.
2. Convert existing business and upsell the service.
3. Sell to C Level executives.
4. Measure sales conversion in the pipeline on all activities that takes place.
5. Conduct market research to identify target demographics, trends, and competitor analysis and develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy.
6. Analyse market trends and competition to adjust strategies for growth and market positioning.
7. Create compelling marketing materials and messaging highlighting the unique selling points of the service.
8. Set measurable marketing KPIs for financial growth, marketing performance and revenue generation, and track performance against targets.
9. Use website analytics and generate reports on key marketing metrics to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
10. Lead, manage and support the implementation of marketing activities in the regions.
11. Design and ensure the execution of approved marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
12. Develop and manage a consistent destination brand identity across all marketing materials and communications.
13. Ensure brand messaging is aligned with the overall strategy and target audience.
14. Manage the VeriCred website and social media channels.
15. Manage the marketing budget and optimize spending across different initiatives.
16. Manage contracts for services (social media, advertising, graphic design, etc.)
17. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Be in possession of a post-graduate degree in Marketing, Tourism Management, Business Management or a related field.
2. 6-8 years proven experience in a sales role in the finance sector.
3. Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Excellent analytical skills.
6. Creative thinking and ability to develop innovative campaigns.
7. Project management skills.
8. Working knowledge of relevant legislation.
9. Understand how the media and advertising industry works.
10. Understand the service industry and customer services environment.
