Implement and maintain site specific safety, health and environmental requirements in line with Company Policy and Procedure, client site SHE requirements and legal requirements for designated contracts.
MAIN OUTPUTS
Create and maintain health and safety files for designated contracts
Generate site SHE related reports and communicate to Ops Manager and client
Create and maintain site risk assessments, Safe Work Procedures, Planned Task Observations
Monitor PPE, legal appointments, competencies, fire equipment, medicals
Conduct Planned Task Observations
Report, investigate incidents, generate report, communicate, follow up
Conduct SHE site inspections and monitor and update registers, checklists, medicals, safety related training matrix
Attend client site safety meetings
Establish Prestige site safety committee, chair quarterly meetings, minutes, follow up on actions
SHE Communication - SHE risks with site employees, SHE awareness, conduct safety related informal training, SHE toolbox talks, incident lessons learnt
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
The Applicant Must Meet The Following Requirements:
Matric (Senior Certificate)
Valid SA Drivers’ License
Risk assessments, incident investigation
Samtrac, Incident Investigation, Legal Liability, Fall Protection Plan Developer, HIRA, Root Cause Analysis, Bidvest Prestige activities in all industries
MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Outlook (Intermediate skill level)
Knowledge of OHS and COID Acts, Industry SANS standards related to Bidvest Prestige service offerings
