Safety Officer

Our client in Rustenburg is looking for a Safety Officer to join their team.

Qualification:

• Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF 4)
• Valid code 08 driver’s license
• COMSOC (Chamber of Mines Safety Officer Course)

Experience:

• 5 years experience in the mining industry.
• Experience in the crane industry will be a bonus.
• HSEC Online (advantageous)
• HIRA - Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment
• ISO 45001:2018 system, application, and maintenance (advantageous)
• Safety Principles and Practices
• Incident Investigation
• Root Cause Analysis Techniques (RCAT) / Incident Causes Analysis Method (ICAM)
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Team player with ability to function independently.
• Innovation and results driven.
• Adaptability
• Occupational Health and Safety Act & Regulations
• Mine Health and Safety Act and Regulations
