Rsc - Operations Management Trainee Epdc

As an Operations Management Trainee, you will engage in a structured development program to acquire the skills necessary for future leadership roles in operations.

The program includes on-the-job coaching, job shadowing, and hands-on experience across various departments including Picking, Inbound, Outbound, and Inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Program: Complete comprehensive training on business processes, SAP EWM, operational procedures, safety, compliance, and HR.
2. Shadowing: Observe and collaborate with experienced managers to learn their roles, decision-making, and problem-solving techniques.
3. Team Management: Learn effective team management, structure, discipline, and motivation strategies.
4. Operational Efficiency: Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to boost productivity.
5. Cross-Departmental Learning: Gain insights into Picking, Inbound, Outbound, and Inventory functions and their integration within the supply chain.
6. KPI Understanding: Learn to analyze key performance indicators for informed decision-making.
7. Performance Monitoring: Support performance metric analysis to ensure operational excellence.
8. Leadership Development: Participate in leadership training to enhance management, communication, and emotional intelligence skills.
9. Project Management: Engage in projects aimed at operational optimization.
10. Performance Evaluation: Regularly assess your progress and identify areas for growth.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Qualifications: 3 year completed Tertiary qualification. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration / Advanced Related qualifications.
2. Experience: 3 years minimum of practical experience in warehouse or supply chain environment, 5 years preferred.
3. Certifications: APICS CPIM, CSCP, or Six Sigma certifications are advantageous.
4. Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software like SAP. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, resilience in a fast-paced environment, conscientiousness & reliable, able to evaluate data and take control.
