The Property Lead is responsible for identifying suitable new rental or development opportunities, assisting with the acquisition/rental of a new property, and managing our existing retail property portfolio.


The main responsibilities of the role include:

  1. Managing all leased properties, lease negotiations and renewals within the Jonsson Workwear retail property portfolio nationally.
  2. Identifying suitable new rental or development opportunities.
  3. Negotiating terms & conditions with landlords and developers.
  4. Creating and maintaining long term relations with the property development community.
  5. Supporting the retail operations team with store projects, roll-outs, refurbishments, refreshes and new stores.

The experience we're looking for:

  1. Experience in a store planning, project manager or property manager role.
  2. Qualification in Property Development, Town Planning or related advantageous.
  3. Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, is preferred.
  4. Solid understanding of South African property law.
  5. Solid understanding of the South African landscape.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Has a driver's license and own vehicle.
  8. Ability to travel extensively.
