Retail Assistant

Full Time Retail & Sales Assistant | 44 Stanley, Johannesburg

We are seeking a full-time retail assistant to join the Mungo team at 44 Stanley in Johannesburg.

Flexible scheduling and working on weekends will be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent in-store sales service. This will include learning in-depth product knowledge to help understand customers’ needs and advise on products.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Manage point-of-sale processes and customer relations.
• Maintain stock levels.
• Be an expert on the Mungo story and brand.
• Report to the store manager daily with customer insights.

To fulfil these responsibilities you will need to have:

CHARACTER

• Strong customer and sales focus.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
• Confidence in dealing with customers, and sharing your extensive product knowledge.
• Be a team player!
• Positive, outgoing, energetic.
• A keen interest in interior design and textiles.
• Innovative with visual merchandising.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Matric
• Experience working in a sales position
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Drivers licence
• Stock control and inventory knowledge
