Retail Admin Manager

Multi Award Winning Nursery-Stodels is looking for a dynamic Retail Admin Manager to head up the Milnerton Garden Centre. The position will report directly to the Branch Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Staff scheduling
2. Responsible for all new staff’s paperwork to be submitted to HR timeously
3. Manage the payroll process for all staff within the branch
4. Provide administrative support to all departments within the branch
5. Liaise closely with the Stoweb team to ensure branch deliveries are completed in a timely manner (stock and documents to Head Office)
6. Responsible for all cashing up paperwork and banking
7. Track all expenses and manage the branch’s petty cash
8. Financial analysis of reports – Mark-Up, Specials, Negative stock
9. Manage perpetual stock takes
10. Manage the customer complaint process
11. Manage the write-off process
12. Manage the Deadline List and ensure that all deadlines are met within the stipulated time frame
13. Management of staff (SSA’s, Ops SSA, cleaners, cashiers, information consultants, till supervisor, cashing up administrator and trolley assistants)
14. HR, IR and staff development
15. Management and care of animal park
16. Liaison between tenants
17. Management of grounds

CRITERIA NEEDED:

1. 3 years relevant retail management experience
2. Relevant Admin experience
3. Computer literate (Excel, Word, SAP - advantageous)
4. Proven leadership abilities and management of staff
5. Understanding of Payroll and Accounting processes
6. Must be self-motivated and assertive
7. Must be organised, efficient and assertive
8. Excellent communication skills on all levels
9. Own transport is required
