Job Description

• Accountable to the customer and management for timely completion of construction, commissioning and handing over of Plant as per project milestones.
• Ensure strict compliance with quality requirements and procedures of contracts / ISO.
• Facilitate Project Manager (PM) in achieving budgeted cost and maintain/improve profit margins.
• Monitor & control contractor performance.
• Adhere to best practices in materials management - planning, receipt, inspection, storage controls and consumption.
• Build good customer relationships to favorably position the company in the long run.
• Ensure development & motivation of site manpower/team.
• Implement HSE plans/practices, develop safety culture on site, implement statutory compliances for labor and local body requirements.
• Plan site activities, schedule material supply, monthly billing, review/report project progress to ensure the progress of work follows the schedule and take corrective steps to catch up.
• Allocate work to site team members, monitor contractor performance, remove bottlenecks, maintain supplier/contractor relationships, ensure construction/as-built drawings, get approval, monitor departmental work, coordinate with various client/consultant/external agencies to facilitate execution of the job, ensure timely billing and collections, ensure preparation/adherence of QAP/ITP/safety plans, manage/develop team and maintain control over cost and time.
