Market Research and Benchmarking: Prepare salary data for external service providers. Support in external data provider discussions and relationship building.
Reward Program Administration: Assist with the administration of existing reward programmes (e.g., annual increase process calculations, STI / LTI calculations). Support in the creation of reward programme communications.
Compliance: Stay informed of relevant reward and benefits legislation and regulations in South Africa. Ensure reward programmes comply with all applicable laws and regulations (e.g., prepare salary data for EE submission, COIDA submission to Department of Labour, and annual BBBEE verification audits). Identify and escalate potential compliance risks.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Gather data from various sources. Clean and process data. Use statistical methods to interpret data and validate findings. Develop and maintain dashboards. Ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems and analytics platforms. Identify trends and provide actionable insights. Work with cross-functional teams to enhance data reporting and visualisation tools. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate trends. Recommend automation for smoother payroll operations.
Competencies
Demonstrable experience in working with senior management teams.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint).
Highly proficient in Excel, including complex calculations, pivot tables, and other collation techniques to manage and analyse data.
Understanding of data privacy and POPIA requirements when handling large, sensitive, and complex data sets.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Essential: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in Data Analytics. Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
Advantageous: Familiarity with HR systems, payroll, and compensation structures. Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) Certificate advantageous.
