Remote Copywriter: Technical Writer

What We're Looking For...

From manufacturing and technology to healthcare and finance, there are many technical, complex industries that require that special touch when writing online copy, including a passion for diving into the nitty-gritty of authoritative research and industry best practices. At WebFX, we’re looking for a talented, research-minded writer who’s excited to explore complex topics in a variety of industries and sectors. Someone passionate about conveying complex information in simple terms and can cut through the jargon if needed to communicate a message clearly and effectively.

We want you to be driven by a love for knowledge in any and all industries and have a knack for asking the right questions to fuel your research. Whatever the topic, you are experienced in reading and parsing professional/academic research, authoritative sources, and data sets. Yet, in your writing, you also know how to translate that information into copy that’s user-friendly and in line with a client’s specific voice and style.

We’re looking for someone who’s excited by the idea of diving deep into complex topics and helping drive results with the copy you write. If this sounds like you, get in touch!

What You'll Do

Responsibilities

1. If you’re seeking a long-term partnership, we’d love to hear from you.
2. Write and self-edit an array of content types, from blog posts to sales copy to long-form content, etc.
3. Work with over 1,000+ different publishers on the web/in the media, ranging from entertainment and lifestyle to industry-specific opportunities
4. Find flexibility in a 42.5-hour/week full-time position as you tackle assignments from the comfort of your home

This position requires overlapping hours from 3:30 AM EST - 12:00 PM EST (New York Time Zone) Monday - Friday.

Africa / Europe (Ghana, UK, Ireland, Kenya, etc)

This position requires overlapping hours from 6:00 AM EST - 2:30 PM EST, Monday - Friday. The 40 hours of work doesn’t include any lunch or breaks.

*** This excludes South Africa, where our copywriters follow a schedule of:

1. 4:00 AM - 1:30 PM EST, Monday - Thursday
2. 4:00 AM - 11:00 AM EST, Friday.

North America & South America

This position requires overlapping hours from 8:00 AM EST - 4:30 PM EST, Monday - Friday. The 40 hours of work doesn’t include any lunch or breaks.
