Job description

To generate maximum income from returned assets through unit and short-term rental sales in the secondary and short-term rental markets and optimizing the residual recovery and profit.

Outputs:

  1. Increase sales and short-term rental of equipment returned, meeting profitability measures.
  2. Manage available sales stock on hand and assess target channels for sales.
  3. Establish and grow clients for different market segments.
  4. Grow the online customer base and sales.
  5. Ensure First Class customer experience.
  6. Grow partner network and ensure Sales throughput increases.
  7. Develop Marketing Initiative and ensure presence to drive sales.
  8. Coordinate delivery of units to customers.
  9. Ensure sales driven through sales management activities.
  10. Leverage and enhance our own digital platform as well as those service providers we work with.
  11. Report weekly sales and objectives to business leaders.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Proven Sales track record or clear evidence of having a strength in the area of sales.
  2. Ability to translate customer needs into business objectives.
  3. Intermediary accounting knowledge and financial acumen.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Networking aptitude.
  6. Good attention to detail.
  7. Strong Sales skills.
  8. Strong administration and customer service skills.
  9. Good numerical ability.
  10. Self-management and personal organizational skills with an ability to multi-task.
  11. Knowledge of IT industry and laptop specifications.
  12. Knowledge of relevant internal and external networks.
  13. Good understanding of IT equipment and experience in this sector.
  14. Understanding of value-add propositions (client specific).
  15. Systems and process knowledge.

Education / Qualification:

  1. Matric.
  2. A university degree or diploma in IT asset management will be an advantage.

Experience:

A demonstrated capability in sales to companies and state-owned enterprises is essential.

Salary:

R35 000 - R40 000pm plus commission.
