Job Summary
To support the Business Unit Head of ARO in managing compliance and regulatory responsibilities related to outsourcing requirements across ARO.
Job Description
Regulatory Monitoring and Oversight of Outsourcing Requirements across the ARO jurisdictions
- Compile, aggregate and maintain impact assessments of the outsourcing guidance requirements.
- Ability to elevate and effectively communicate the impact of the changes to the bank and monitor action plans and milestones to ensure compliance.
- Engage with country Heads of Compliance or equivalent to drive the Cloud Regulatory governance approval process and co-ordinate/facilitate engagement between Centre stakeholders and country compliance.
- Closely support the Centre Cloud Governance Committees as it relates to ad hoc Regulatory related in guidance.
- Track and monitor the Cloud Regulatory approval process and provide status updates.
- Ability to stay abreast of emerging Regulatory Risks and Regulatory Developments and socialize data localization Regulatory updates at forums/committees.
Provide guidance and training to stakeholders in relation to these developments.
Accountability: New Regulatory Requirements in respect of Outsourcing Requirements across the ARO jurisdictions
- Identify new laws/regulations and changes to existing laws/regulations with key focus on outsourcing and cloud computing guidelines.
- Provide input and support into the New Regulatory Requirements process.
- Quality review and to check and challenge ARO NRR submissions.
- Proactively identify and raise at risk Regulatory commitments all ARO jurisdiction ARO wide.
Accountability: Governance and reporting
- Assist in the preparation of the ARO Wide key compliance data management key themes.
- Prioritize close engagement with countries where In Country Processing is topical as well as instances where Regulatory directives mandate compliance.
- Align with data and risk governance policies and standards.
Accountability: Stakeholder Management
- Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage service offerings all stakeholder groups.
- Cross collaboration across risk areas.
Education and Experience Required:
- B-degree in Risk/Legal/Commerce.
- (3 - 5) years’ experience in Compliance, Data Risk Management, Audit or Risk management.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge of Data Privacy Risk Management, Control and Assurance.
- Knowledge of relevant local and international regulatory environment including data privacy.
- Knowledge of data governance and risk governance frameworks.
- Knowledge of Compliance best practice.
- Strong leadership skills.

Education
Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
