About the role

You'll play a vital role in ensuring compliance with banking regulations by assisting in the completion and submission of regulatory returns (BA returns), handling queries from management and regulators, and supporting the preparation of public disclosures. Stay ahead of the curve by staying updated on regulatory changes and contribute to decision-making processes. Collaborate with internal teams and represent us in industry forums. What we are looking for in a candidate

Tertiary Degree in Finance or Accounting (i.e. B Comm Financial Accounting, B Comm Management Accounting).

2-3 years’ experience in regulatory reporting (BA returns), preferably with one of the large traditional banks in South Africa.

Proven experience with liquidity returns, income statements, balance sheet reconciliations, credit risk returns, and daily returns.

Familiarity with NCR reporting processes and the ability to address queries from the Presidential Authority and SARB.
