Intercare Woodhill Medical and Dental Centre situated in Moreleta Park, Pretoria seeks to recruit a Registered Nurse. The purpose of the position is to perform all nursing duties in accordance with the scope of practice as prescribed by the South African Nursing Council, while adhering to all facility policies and procedures.

CRITICAL OUTPUTS

1. Assisting the Medical Practitioner in the pre-screening, treatment, and care of patients.
2. Assist Medical Reception in prioritizing medical emergencies.
3. Actively maintain stock management processes.
4. Maintain emergency trolley in accordance with company policies and procedures.
5. Ensure effective maintenance of schedule 5 and higher drug register according to DoH regulations.
6. Ensure that the disposal of medical waste and human tissue is in accordance with OHS Regulations.
7. Assume responsibility for the opening and lock-up of the branch.
8. Effectively attend to customer complaints and escalate to the Practice Manager where applicable.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Grade 12
2. Minimum Qualification: Diploma/Degree in nursing leading to qualification as Registered Nurse.
3. 2-3 years experience within a supervisory position advantageous.
4. Computer proficiency (MS Office) essential.
5. SANC Registration as Registered Nurse.
