Our client, a Plastic Surgeon in Johannesburg is requiring a dynamic, energetic and professional Registered Nurse to provide the relevant nursing services within an Aesthetic Clinic.

Responsibilities:

Wound Care:

• Visit patients in their homes to assess and dress surgical wounds.
• Provide education to patients and families on wound care management.
• Monitor healing progress and report any complications to the surgical team.

Mole Mapping Procedures:

• Perform comprehensive mole mapping procedures.
• Document and track changes in skin conditions using advanced imaging technology.
• Educate patients on skin cancer prevention and early detection.

IV Bar Management and Phlebotomy for PRP treatments:

• Administer IV therapies to patients in our IV bar.
• Monitor patients during treatments to ensure safety and comfort.
• Manage inventory and supplies for the IV bar.
• Draw blood, spin it and administer as a PRP treatment

Daily Operations of the Aesthetic Centre:

• Coordinate and manage day-to-day activities of the aesthetic centre.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Oversee scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional environment.

Patient Coordinator for Cosmetic Surgery Procedures:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients undergoing cosmetic surgery.
• Provide detailed pre- and post-operative instructions and support.
• Answer patient inquiries via phone and WhatsApp, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Schedule consultations, follow-up appointments, and coordinate with the surgical team.

Skills & Attributes:

• Sound communication skills, with the capacity to communicate effectively with doctors, staff, patients and other health care professionals

• Excellent telephone etiquette

• Ability to work within a team, as well as independently

• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

• Dedication to the vision and goals of the practice

• The ability to remain calm and exhibit tact in stressful and/or delicate situations

• The ability to handle confidential issues with discretion

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current registration with SANC

• Registered Nurse qualification

• Experience within a private setting is advantageous

• Valid driver's license with own reliable transport

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 08h00 to 17h00
