Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled Accountant / Bookkeeper for our client, a leading innovation-driven industrial and packaging solutions company with a global presence.

Responsibilities

1. Finance Duties:

• Maintain complete and accurate financial records up to Trial Balance
• General ledger and lead sheet maintenance
• Accounts Receivable & Customer ledger processing and reconciliations
• Accounts Payable & Supplier ledger processing and reconciliations
• Bank and payment preparation and reconciliations
• Credit card statements and expense claim reconciliations
• Process monthly journals and adjustments
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register
• Assist with month-end and year-end processes, journals, and reconciliations
• Manage inventory control systems and processes

• Customer liaison for spares orders
• Quotations, orders, invoices, stock preparation, and distribution
• Plan and oversee stock takes
• Visa and travel planning and control
• Back-office support and ad hoc administrative duties
• General office orders (refreshments, canteen, and stationery)

Requirements

1. ±5 to 10 years of experience as a Bookkeeper
2. Matric Certificate
3. Relevant Diploma / Certificate in Bookkeeping / Finance (Degree preferred)
4. Manufacturing industry experience required
5. Inter-company experience required
6. Experience working with international companies required
7. Proven experience with SAGE Evolution Accounting Package
8. Strong Microsoft Excel skills
9. Tenacity and ability to meet strict deadlines
10. Experience in a multinational environment (advantageous)
11. English as a first language (advantageous)
12. Must have own transport
