Position Title: Regional Product Development Manager (RPDM)

A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Regional Product Development Manager (RPDM) at Siemens Energy, you will work closely with all Siemens Energy Regional commercial teams and customers, providing technical sales and sales support for our product line. This includes opportunity identification, qualification, evaluation, and pursuit through order capture, with a particular emphasis on deploying Siemens Energy technology solutions via engineered solutions offerings.

As the technology expert for the assigned Region, you will develop solutions for potential customers in collaboration with the Region and extended Siemens Energy Commercial Teams. You will support the organization identified as one of the growth initiatives within Gas Services. The Global team is dynamic, supportive, and fun to work with.

How You'll Make an Impact

  1. Develop a comprehensive list of regional customers and execute sales strategies with client-facing teams.
  2. Proactively develop new opportunities and leads.
  3. Manage the sales force funnel by documenting the life cycle of opportunities and ensuring proper entry into Sales.
  4. Provide voice of the client needs, competitive intelligence, market drivers, and buying influences for new product and service development.
  5. Create and qualify opportunities through a selectivity process to determine bid strategy and solution.
  6. Interface with clients, Region, and operations teams during acquisition and execution processes.
  7. Understand project scope and communicate requirements to the IPS team.
  8. Create and maintain an annual territory/bookings strategy to meet/exceed operating plans.
  9. Train and educate the client-facing team on new service offerings within the product line responsibility.

What You Bring

BSME or BSEE preferred or 15+ years of experience in the Aeroderivative Industry. Extensive sales and/or commercial development experience, including contract and order negotiation.

Extensive product knowledge on LM and LM; English is required. Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
  • Team player and self-starter excited to grow the business.
  • Deep connections with decision-makers/influencers at Regional Customers (Sonatrac, Azule, Mobil OSO).
