Regional Manager, Scaffolding

A trusted and well-established client of ours in The Middle East is seeking an experienced Chief District Manager to undertake major construction projects within the Oil and Gas and Civil Engineering sector. This is a leading management role, reporting to board level with opportunities for growth to director level.

The Chief District Manager will work with the area Construction Manager and Subcontractors Scaffolding teams to ensure the following:

1. Responsible for managing all scaffolding personnel (internal and external).
2. Yard operations and 360 Scaffolding Solutions from Instruction to Decommissioning.
3. P&L and Budgets.
4. Logistics of materials, staff, and vehicles.
5. Ensuring appropriate levels of contracts, staff, and materials and adherence to budgets.
6. Client Management.
7. Demand Planning.
8. Programme Management.

Requirements:

1. Excellent interpersonal and management skills with a clear ability to take responsibility and leadership.
2. Ability to maintain good working relationships with clients, surveyors, and project management.
3. Strong interpersonal skills to enhance the motivation and compliance of the workforce, managing appraisals, toolbox talks, and ensuring risk and method statements are complied with.
4. Logistical management skills utilizing the transport and supply of materials and staff in the most efficient manner.
5. Able to produce clear management reports and KPIs in a manner that can be understood by all to enhance the productivity of the business.
6. A clear understanding of estimating and costs in relation to scaffolding, managing SLAs, and P&L.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure an ongoing pipeline of profitable work, labor, and materials.
8. Understanding of contract documentation.
9. Meeting with clients throughout the contracts to ensure they are set up and run in compliance with the contract.
10. A high regard for Health, Safety, and Compliance.
11. Reviewing and implementing processes and procedures required for the safety of employees and the company while developing a positive culture towards health and safety.
12. A mentoring and respectful attitude towards staff with the ability to empower and encourage growth in knowledge, capabilities, and professionalism of the team.

Benefits:

1. Minimum of 5 years Management Experience specializing in Scaffolding.
2. Work/Project Experience in The Middle East is mandatory.
3. Willingness and ability to relocate to The Middle East.
