Regional Doctor Liaison -(6 months contract)

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

1. Manage the online bed booking process collaboratively with the hospitals and provide monthly updates or as and when needed.
2. Plan doctor visits together with individual JMH Hospital Managers and liaise with doctors by building relationships and ensuring that he/she promotes JMH hospitals and the Group.
3. Facilitate patient referrals.
4. Act as a conduit between GP’s, Hospital Managers, and Specialists.
5. Assist the Hospital Managers with doctor recruitment as needed.
6. Act as a custodian of all JMH developments and communicate the same to all GP’s and relevant JMH databases.
7. Ensure that relevant GP JMH databases are up to date.
8. Ensure necessary and approved assistance of doctor marketing activities in conjunction with and as approved by the Group Marketing Manager and relevant Hospital Manager.
9. Assist doctors with referrals giving medical aid rates.
10. Submit reports to doctors.
11. Plan doctor’s visits and nursing home visits.
12. Provide regular feedback to management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. Must have a Grade 12 qualification.
2. Must be computer literate.
3. Nursing qualification would be advantageous.
4. Must have at least 2 years customer service experience.
5. Must have at least 1 year Hospital Admissions or Confirmations experience.
6. Must have experience with Medical Aids and ICD codes.
7. Nursing background would be advantageous.
8. Required to have your own vehicle.
