Our client is an international manufacturer and supplier of power tools & technologies for the construction, mining, and automotive sectors.

They are a great place for career advancement as they are looking for a Regional Product Manager as a vital part of the Product Leadership team within the META (Middle East, Turkey & Africa) region and to be an important interface between local market organizations and our headquarters Corporate Business Units.

Job Role Summary

The Regional Product Manager will contribute to profitably grow our business by managing both existing and new products, services, and software through activities such as product line extensions, product pruning, promotional activities, and developing training concepts for the sales teams. They will develop impactful product launch concepts to bring differentiation and improve our customers' applications.

These activities are aimed at supporting the achievement of the organizational strategy, which is to create sustainable value through leadership and differentiation. We expect the person who takes this role to have the potential and the desire to continue to higher management levels and might require in the future one step internationally to build a broader experience.

Key Duties

  1. Manage measuring portfolio to achieve product and market leadership.
  2. Build and support the defined strategy around competitive product positioning and development of marketing content for use in regional marketing programs.
  3. Define and drive actions to develop market share.
  4. Build master marketing plans to identify business opportunities, allow for local application, and secure profitable growth with our service portfolio.
  5. Evaluate the market environment to define market potential, key applications, and customer needs.
  6. Support and guide sales teams to achieve desired business results.
  7. Partner with and communicate effectively to appropriate stakeholders within the market organizations to deliver outstanding value.
  8. Contribute to the solution community both in META and globally through sharing best practices and replication/scaling of successes.
  9. Proactively monitor the external environment and translate relevant trends into the organization to ensure agility and value creation.

Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required

  1. National Higher Diploma or Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline; an MBA or engineering background is a plus.
  2. Minimum of 3 - 7 years working experience in a product marketing role in an engineering sector.
  3. Consultancy and construction experience is an advantage.
  4. A solid understanding of the marketing management process and the marketing mix, with exposure to developing a fact base, customer data analysis, pricing, and channel management.
  5. Successful experience in working with large sales teams and a multi-channel business within a B2B environment.
  6. Evidence of acting as a strategic business partner through influencing and interacting with key stakeholders across a matrix organization.
  7. Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
  8. Proficiency in English - written and verbal.
  9. Effective communication skills, including the ability to structure clear presentations and simplify a message.
  10. A result-oriented, top performer who consistently meets and exceeds goals.
  11. Geographically flexible, with the motivation to pursue an international career.
