Job description

As a Recruitment Officer, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process within the organization on a national portfolio. You will collaborate with hiring managers across departments to identify staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and ensure a seamless and efficient hiring process. Your role will be crucial in sourcing and attracting qualified candidates who align with our company culture and values.

Responsibilities

  1. Recruitment and Selection
    Assist with managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job requisition to offer negotiation and onboarding.
    Source and screen candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and internal referrals.
    Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
    Provide feedback and recommendations to hiring managers based on candidate evaluations.
  2. Collaboration with Hiring Managers
    Work closely with department heads and hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs, team dynamics, and desired candidate profiles.
    Offer guidance on market trends, salary benchmarking, and hiring best practices.
  3. Candidate Relationship Management
    Build and maintain a pool of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
    Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
    Keep candidates informed about their application status and provide feedback when necessary.
  4. Employer Branding
    Contribute to the development and implementation of employer branding strategies to attract top talent.
    Promote the company's culture and values through job descriptions, candidate interactions, and recruitment materials.
  5. Recruitment Metrics & Reporting
    Track and report key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate quality, employee turnover.
    Assist with assessing and improving recruitment strategies based on data and feedback.
    Prepare regular reports on recruitment progress for senior management.
  6. Onboarding
    Assist with the coordination of the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
    Work with HR and other departments to prepare necessary documentation and ensure compliance with legal and company policies.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience (3+ years) as a Recruitment Officer, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or Recruitment Consultant, preferably in an in-house environment.
  2. A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
  3. Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, etc.).
  4. Experience with headhunting methods and tools.
  5. Strong understanding of recruitment processes, sourcing techniques, and interview methodologies.
  6. The ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
