Recruitment Consultant

Job Description:

Sources, screens, assesses and interviews suitable candidates in line with the business requirements and applicable processes and policies. Focuses on quality delivery and complies with orders by specific deadlines according to client needs. Accepts responsibility for liaising with other divisions to ensure that all work is effectively completed.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience

  • Computer literacy of which MS Office experience is essential
  • Knowledge of social media and job board sites essential
  • Ability to communicate well in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong administration skills
  • At least one year's experience within the permanent recruitment industry

Education

  • National certificate

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the client to ensure that the order requirements are clarified and qualified. Ensure that there is a shared understanding of the requirements and that turnaround times and deadlines are adhered to in line with the service level agreement.
  • Source candidates through a variety of mechanisms, including but not limited to:
    • The candidate database
    • The Adcorp website
    • Adverts
    • Networking
    • Job boards (i.e. PNet, Career Junction, Gumtree, and Indeed)
    • Social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
    • Headhunting and Executive Search
  • Complete the initial candidate matching from the candidate database (where relevant) and may also perform a paper-based screening, taking into consideration resourcing requirements, high quality standards and client service level agreements.
  • Facilitate telephonic interviews to assess candidate performance regarding functional competencies, knowledge and qualifications.
  • Simultaneously ensure the completion of vetting through MIE and assess other suitability requirements such as candidate ability to travel and/or perform shift work.
  • Conduct competency-based interviews with candidates.
  • Ensure that the required references and vetting checks are completed for candidates who are successful in the interview and schedule successful candidates for testing and assessment (if applicable).
  • Regret unsuccessful candidates in a professional and timely manner.
  • Advertise jobs and manage ad responses to job boards and social media platforms.
  • Network to find suitably skilled candidates and clients.
  • Maintain data integrity on an ATS, ensuring candidates, clients, and job orders are captured accurately.
  • Process placements on an ATS.
  • Follow up calls to clients when placing a candidate (2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks).
  • Profile candidates and market top candidates to clients.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of the recruitment life cycle with candidates.
  • Adhere to all candidate administration policies, processes, systems, and procedures, ensuring that candidate records are accurate and complete.
  • Ensure that weekly and monthly statistics are completed.
  • Handle all routine queries and work requests efficiently and effectively within required SLAs and turnaround times.
  • Ensure that all relevant meetings and training sessions are attended.
  • Participate in any company relevant surveys.
  • Ensure clients complete Terms of Business for credit vetting purposes.
  • Ensure invoices are processed accurately on an ATS and emailed to clients timeously.
  • Track placements on ATS.
  • Ensure all documentation pertaining to clients and placed candidates is uploaded onto ATS for auditing purposes.
  • Establish and service relationships with candidates, clients, and colleagues to improve the effective and efficient execution of objectives in line with business requirements.
  • Demonstrate personal commitment to business partners and clients by fulfilling responsibilities, involving others and removing obstacles to team accomplishments.
  • Establish and consolidate good interpersonal relationships by listening to others, involving others and objectively considering their ideas and opinions.
  • Volunteer assistance to help others achieve goals and complete all ad hoc duties as reasonably required.
  • Understand the client environment and how varying client contexts will impact resourcing requirements.
  • Analyse client feedback and use this feedback to ensure service enhancements by optimising own behaviour.
  • Engage the client proactively, respond to client queries promptly and ensure that opportunities for improvements to the client experience are actioned and measured.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and research on existing and new clients to stay abreast of developments.
  • Client visits – virtual or F2F.
  • Strong negotiation and financial skills.
  • Actively engage with successful candidates to provide referrals of suitably qualified candidates.
  • Lead generation referring to area of specialization.
  • Collaborate within Perm Portfolio and cross-sell within Adcorp Group Portfolio.
  • Canvas new clients for new business and service existing clients to generate organic growth.
  • Ensure that monthly targets are achieved.
  • Ensure that average debtors' days are less than 30 days and actively manage debtors' days.
  • Process credit notes for fall offs/non-starters.
  • Accurate calculations of placement fees.
  • Accurately forecast placements.
