Job Description

A 5-month contract has become available at our Head Office in Cape Town for a vibrant, well-spoken and self-driven Receptionist who is passionate about providing awesome customer experiences. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated and eager about performance and will have the high energy levels required for our fast-paced retail environment.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Reception and switchboard duties including but not limited to:
  • Meet and greet clients and team members in a professional manner.
  • Promptly answer telephone calls and redirect as appropriate, recording and relaying accurate messages as required.
  • Monitoring the reception and client areas to ensure that they are kept tidy.
  • Assisting with ensuring that guests receive refreshments.
  • Ensuring the reception area is attended to at all times.
  • Administration duties such as:
  • Booking and coordinating meeting room bookings.
  • Arrange courier deliveries on request and maintain appropriate records.
  • Ensure prompt collection of packages and deliveries from Reception.
  • Provide general assistance to team leader and team members.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Required

  • Minimum 2 years prior experience in a receptionist or similar role.
  • Previous experience in a clothing retail environment is advantageous.
  • Matric (essential) with a relevant administration qualification (advantageous).
  • A valid driver’s license is advantageous.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency – Intermediate level is preferable.
  • Proficient in English.
